AGORAPHOBIA AND GLASSES

Hi Everyone, we are coming in to the winter months, which in some ways are better for the agoraphobic. In the winter months we don't have BBB's and outdoor parties that we could be invited to. Things seem to calm down a bit and the guilt and shame of being home bound lightens up. The bad news is that the same problems are still with us only not as noticeable to other people as the warm months. The solution still is your eyes. Make that decision to get your eyes checked at a reputable eye doctor to see if you have HETEROPHORIA. For more information look at some of the posts on this site.  Vision Specialists of Michigan would be more than glad to give you any information you want. Like maybe finding a eye doctor that specializes in this in your state. Not all eye doctors know how to test for HETEROPHORIA they weren't taught in eye doctor school. Maybe all you want is information. If you can't call have someone you love call. Vision Specialists of Michigan want to help they know more about your condition than you do. Also take the test on the right and check out my book for how I overcame this. It's a great story. I know I lived it.

All the best to you always, Yolanda

AGORAPHOBIA AND QUANTUM PHYSICS

Hi everyone. We are going to venture down a different path today. (Of course it's still your eyes and you should take the test to the right and also see Dr. Debbie in Michigan.) I have come into the knowledge of Quantum Physics and cannot believe what I am reading. I am not young and this is the most exciting thing I have read in my life. I want to share with you this exciting new world. Don't let the word Physics scare you it is easy just open up your mind and tell yourself you can understand all of this. Also do a google search for more on this topic.

As usual I wish you all the best. Yolanda

Quantum physics shows us that the world is not the hard and unchangeable thing it may appear to be. Instead, it is a very fluid place continuously built up using our individual and collective thoughts.
What we think is true is really an illusion, almost like a magic trick.
Fortunately we have begun to uncover the illusion and most importantly, how to change it.
What is your body made of?
Nine systems comprise the human body including Circulatory, Digestive, Endocrine, Muscular, Nervous, Reproductive, Respiratory, Skeletal, and Urinary.
What are those made up of?
Tissues and organs.
What are tissues and organs made of?
Cells.
What are cells made of?
Molecules.
What are molecules made of?
Atoms.
What are atoms made of?
Sub-atomic particles.
What are subatomic particles made of?
Energy!
You and I are pure energy-light in its most beautiful and intelligent configuration. Energy that is constantly changing beneath the surface and you control it all with your powerful mind.
You are one big stellar and powerful Human Being.
If you could see yourself under a powerful electron microscope and conduct other experiments on yourself, you would see that you are made up of a cluster of ever-changing energy in the form of electrons, neutrons, photons and so on.
So is everything else around you. Quantum physics tells us that it is the act of observing an object that causes it to be there where and how we observe it.
An object does not exist independently of its observer! So, as you can see, your observation, your attention to something, and your intention, literally creates that thing.
This is scientific and proven.
Your world is made of spirit, mind and body.
Each of those three, spirit, mind and body, has a function that is unique to it and not shared with the other. What you see with your eyes and experience with your body is the physical world, which we shall call Body. Body is an effect, created by a cause.
This cause is Thought.
Body cannot create. It can only experience and be experienced … that is its unique function.
Thought cannot experience … it can only make up, create and interpret. It needs a world of relativity (the physical world, Body) to experience itself.
Spirit is All That Is, that which gives Life to Thought and Body.
Body has no power to create, although it gives the illusion of power to do so. This illusion is the cause of much frustration. Body is purely an effect and has no power to cause or create.
The key with all of this information is how do you learn to see the universe differently than you do now so that you can manifest everything you truly desire.

THE GRIM REALITY OF AGORAPHOBIA

I have to report to an orientation to keep my food stamp benefits. I got out of it once and can't get out of it this time. I hate that they don't take my condition seriously and won't make accommodations for me. After trying for a MONTH I finally got through to someone on the phone today. They
MIGHT be able to help me when I come in, but have no concrete answers. They wouldn't even guess how long this orientation will last. It is so frustrating dealing with the state as it is, but being panicked about sitting in a group makes it worse. It's hard for me to go out, period, even with no group. I can't even go to church because of this, and that's a place I WANT to be in.I have made progress in therapy and doing EMDR. I leave the house a lot more than I did a year ago, but I am still struggling. I haven't seen my best friend in a couple months and had to beg her to take me. I feel so bad for asking though because she has so much on her plate already. Her daughter suffers from anxiety and tried to take her life last month. Instead of being there for her, I feel like I'm adding to her load.
Finally saw a psychiatrist after waiting nearly a year. The one medicine he prescribed for as needed is a blood pressure med and makes me feel weird if I take recommended doses. Doesn't ease my anxiety much and the side effects scare me. I haven't taken the other prescription because it is one that says once you start it, you can't abruptly stop. Sounds too much like the antidepressants I've had bad experiences with. And the side effects are scary, one being possible depression! WTF are they doing to people with this stuff? I just want to cry. I don't want to go to this place on Thursday.

This is just one of the many stories you can find on the net and on the support groups. They are all hurting in some way or the other. They don't have a voice there is no one out there for them. Not only do they live with the fear of Agoraphobia but also the fear of living from one day to the other. If you're one of these people please try and get legal help. Most of the time they will do it for what they can get out of it in the form of damages. I'm not a lawler but some of the people I have found on the net with this problem have sued and have gotten victory for their problems. I encourage you to read my book and the other things on this blog for help with your agoraphobia.

AGORAPHOBIA OR GLASSES?

Agoraphobia or glasses, which one do you want. This should be an easy decision but it's not! Why? I can't answer that question, if you can answer it will you leave a comment?
The longer you are in the grip of agoraphobia the harder it will be to relearn the normal way of life. I really don't know what else I can say that I haven't already said. Please read my blog and my book if you have agoraphobia and are wondering why you have it and how you can get rid of it.

I wish you the best. Yolanda

AGORAPHOBIA AND EMPATHY

Are you an empathetic agoraphobic? The word empathy means the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
Agoraphobics are always screaming how nobody understands them and can't know what they are going through on a daily basis. We bemoan the fact that we live in a world where no one can relate to our problems, not our husbands or wife and certainly not our doctors. Now I agree that all of this is true but have you ever turned the tables and said I don't understand or have empathy with how they see me or are hurt by my behavior towards them or situations.
They can't understand what we are going through and rightly so. Agoraphobia is so debilitating that we can't even understand it. But does that make this ok? I don't think so!
Agoraphobics need a big dose of their own criticism. We want to be understood by other people but we sure don't want to do the understanding. Shame on us. It's time to change. It's time to look at those non- agoraphobics and cut them some slack. Try and look at yourself the way they look at you. They don't understand you they want to be your friend. They want to hang out with you, is there something wrong with that?  Be it husband, relative, friend, lover or child. We need to turn the tables on ourselves and ask how can I can show love to people instead of expecting them to show love and understand to me not knowing my condition like I know it.
The answer is within you. Look for it. Start with the one closest to you. Tell them how much you care about them and want them to be happy. Tell them you are sorry you can't do the things they want you to do and wish with all your heart you could be different. Maybe you could strike a compromise. Showing unconditional love to someone can only be a good thing and make your life a little better. Try looking out side of yourself for a change instead of looking in and seeing only miserable me and no body cares. Sometimes it's not all about you.

Better yet click on  the test on the right and get rid of 85 to 95% of your symptoms with a pair of prism glasses.

Love you all, Yolanda

CRABBY OLD WOMAN

When an old woman died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, it was believed that she had nothing left of any value.  Later, when the nurses were going through her meager possessions, they found this poem.

Its quality and content so impressed the staff that copies were made and distributed to every nurse in the hospital. One nurse took her copy to Alberta.

The old woman's sole bequest to posterity has since appeared in the Christmas edition of the News Magazine of the St. Louis Association for Mental Health.  A slide presentation has also been made based on this simple, but eloquent, poem.
This little old woman, with nothing left to give to the world, is now the author of this  'anonymous' poem winging across the Internet.

Crabby Old Lady

What do you see nurses?  . .. . What do you see?
What are you thinking ..  .. .. when you're looking at me?
A crabby old lady .. ..  .. not very wise,
Uncertain of habit .. ..  .. with faraway eyes?
Who dribbles her food  ..     .. .. and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud  voice .. .. .. 'I do wish you'd try!'
Who seems not to notice  .. .. .. the things that you do.
And forever is losing ..  .. .. A sock or
shoe?
Who, resisting or not  ..     .. .. lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding  .. .. .. a long day to fill?
Is that what you're  thinking? .. .. .. Is that what you see?
Then open your eyes,  nurse .. . .. you're not looking at me.
I'll tell you who I am  .. .. .. As I sit here so still,
As I do at your bidding,  .. .. .. as I eat at your will.
I'm a small girl of Ten  . .. . with  a father and mother,
Brothers and sisters ..  .. .. who love one another.
A young girl of Sixteen  .. .. .. with wings on her feet.
Dreaming that soon now  .. .. .. a lover she'll meet.
A bride soon at Twenty  .. .. .. my heart gives a leap.
Remembering, the vows ..  .. .. that I promised to keep.
At Twenty-Five, now ..  .. .. I have young of my own.
Who need me to guide ..  .. ..  a secure happy home.
A woman of Thirty . ..  .. My young now grown fast,
Bound to each other ..  .. .. With ties that should last.
At Forty, my young sons  .. .. .. have grown and are gone,
But my man is beside me  . .. . to see I don't mourn.
At Fifty, once more, ..  .. .. babies play 'round my knee,
Again, we know children  .. .. .. My husband and me.
Dark days are upon me ..  .. .. my husband's now dead.
I look at the future ..  .. .. and shudder with dread.
For my young are all  rearing .. .. .. young of their own.
And I think of the years  .. .. . and  the love that I've known.
I'm now an old woman ..  . .. and nature is cruel.
'Tis jest to make old  age .. .. .. look like a fool.
The body, it crumbles ..  .. .. grace and vigor depart.
There is now a stone ..  . .. where I once had a heart.
But inside this  old  carcass .. .. .. a young girl still dwells,
And now and again .. ..  .. my battered heart swells.
I remember the joys ..  .. .. I remember the pain.
And I'm loving and  living .. .. .. life over again.
I  think of the  years, all too few .. .. .. gone too fast.
And accept the stark  fact .. .. . that nothing can last.
So open your eyes,  people .. .. .. open and see.
Not a crabby old woman  .. .. .. look  closer .. .. .. see ME!!

Remember this poem when you next meet an older person who you might brush aside without  looking at the young soul within.  We will all, one day, be there, too!

PLEASE SHARE THIS  POEM !

The best and most  beautiful things of this world can't be seen or touched.
They must be felt by the heart.

I thought you might like this so I am sharing. Love you all Yolanda
